Greenmount

Greenmount is at the southern end of Coolangatta Beach, situated north of Rainbow Bay.  One of the Gold Coast’s safer beaches, Greenmount is a great place to take your Gold Coast Kids for a day at the beach.

Greenmount beach has two flagged areas and Lifeguard towers.  Drinking fountains, beach showers and male and female toilets are provided for your convenience. There are also some great picnic tables and gas BBQs for self-catering, or the two Surf Clubs and other nearby restaurants provide several dining options. Free car parking is readily available.

There is a great foreshore reserve behind Greenmount beach containing an unfenced play area under shade sails and including swings, a slide and rock climbing. Ample seating and a great walking path and bikeway are other attractions. Greenmount is a moderately safe beach due to its generally low waves, though deep rip channels and troughs can often occur.
