Mermaid Beach

Mermaid Beach stretches for 2 km from the end of the Kurrawa reserve. Mermaid Beach is a fabulous beach to take you Gold Coast Kids for a day out.

Mermaid Beach has a flagged area and Lifeguard tower.  Drinking fountains, beach showers and male and female toilets, including facilities for the disabled, are provided for your convenience. There are also some picnic tables and gas BBQs for self-catering, or the nearby Surf Club offers different dining options. The Mermaid Beach Surf Life Saving Club can be found on the other side of the road from the beach and is fronted by a long grassy beach reserve. Free car parking is available.

Benefit from the protected picnic areas while watching your Gold Coast Kids play in the fenced playground at Ken Mansbridge Park. The area includes swings, a slide and a volleyball court, along with bench seating and a great walking path and bikeway. A bike lane also goes along the side of the one way road that runs the length of Mermaid Beach north bound.
