Miami Beach

Miami Beach can be found just north of Burleigh, between North and South Nobby on the Gold Coast. It’s a fairly protected beach, which makes it especially nice for an outing with younger Gold Coast Kids.

Miami Beach has a flagged area and Lifeguard tower.  Drinking fountains, beach showers and male and female toilets, including facilities for the disabled, are provided for your convenience. There are also some picnic tables and gas BBQs for self-catering, or the nearby Surf Club offers different dining options. Free car parking is available, along with bike racks for securing bicycles.

Miami Beach is well shaded in several areas by huge Norfolk Island Pines. Nearby Mick Schamburg Park can be found within the foreshore reserve area adjacent to the beach. Along with fantastic scenic views, this area has bench seating and a great walking path and bikeway. Fixed exercise equipment is also a handy feature in the park.
