North Kirra

North Kirra is south of Tugun beach on the Gold Coast.  It is a lovely, relatively safe beach to enjoy with your Gold Coast Kids.

North Kirra beach has a flagged area and Lifeguard tower. Drinking fountains, beach showers and male and female toilets (including those with wheelchair access) are provided for your convenience. There are also some great picnic tables, shelters and gas BBQs for self-catering, or the Surf Club provides alternate dining options. Free car parking is readily available.

A narrow foreshore reserve runs the length of North Kirra beach. An unfenced play area is adjacent to North Kirra beach, under shade sails, and includes swings, slides and climbing rope. Bench seating and a great walking path and bikeway are also attractive features. The patrolled area is the best place to swim, with the waves breaking on sand banks before hitting the beach.
