Australian Outback Spectacular

Australian Outback Spectacular is a one-of-a-kind Aussie experience. This custom-built venue depicts the splendour of the Australian Outback, with nightly action-packed performances 5 to 6 days per week (excluding public holidays) in an arena thundering with the hooves of Australian horses. Located between Warner Bros Movie World and Wet ‘N’ Wild Water World, Australian Outback Spectacular is approximately 20 minutes’ drive north from Surfers Paradise.

What happens at Australian Outback Spectacular?

Entry to Australian Outback Spectacular is a dinner and show arrangement. Your admission price includes the performance, as well as a tasty three course Aussie BBQ dinner and a stockman’s hat. From the moment you enter the arena, you are fully submerged in the essence Australian outback. Looking and feeling like a traditional outback shearing shed, every aspect has been totally planned to give the venue a genuine and one-of-a-kind Australian feel. The Aussie Pub, which opens about one hour before the show starts, is a themed bar where you can put your feet up and enjoy a cold drink.

Spirit of the Horse

Gold Coast Kids are sure to love Australian Outback Spectacular’s latest show – Spirit of the Horse. Honouring the legend that is Phar Lap, Spirit of the Horse also celebrates the brave spirit of the Australian horse. As do all of the Australian Outback Spectacular’s shows, Spirit of the Horse involves glorious animals like the Australian stockhorse, amazing special effects and an incredible troupe of performers.

Food at Australian Outback Spectacular

Included in your entry ticket is a three course Aussie themed meal. This consists of a first course of salad, main of beef and garden vegetables and baked pavlova with Queensland berries for dessert. There is also now the option of prime beef sausages for those Gold Coast Kids not wanting steak. Vegetarian guests are additionally catered for. Beer, wine and soft drinks are served throughout the show. Ensure you make your special meal requests when booking to avoid disappointment.

Planning your trip to Australian Outback Spectacular

The show does contain moderate levels of noise comparable to those you might experience in a movie cinema, so consider this when planning your trip with young Gold Coast Kids, especially those known to be hypersensitive to noise. Strobe effects and lighting are also used in the production. Also keep in mind that strollers and baby capsules are not permitted inside the venue (these can be stored in the Cloak Room). Limited wheelchair access is available, along with ample carparks.
