Harley Park at Marine Parade Labrador is one of those perfect Gold Coast Parks that offers a little something for everyone
Explore the age appropriate playgrounds or simply head into the sand enclosed swimming enclosure. Harley Park has everything you need for a day of fun or relaxation. Play in the sand, or go for a stroll along the Broadwater and take in the beautiful views on offer. Take a book and sit under the shade sails with the sand between your toes. There’s a full sized flying fox for the older Gold Coast Kids and the big kids at heart or a smaller sized flying fox in the enclosed fenced play area for the little ones. With rope ladders, climbing ropes and a rope bridge that leads to the slippery slide, what more could a little one want!
With over twenty tables and chairs, and plenty of car parks, Harley Park is a great place to hold your next barbeque. One of the six bbq’s also has boiling water available and power points on each bbq station. There’s also plenty of space for a picnic amongst the tables too. If you don’t fancy cooking your own, why not grab some fish and chips from Charis Seafood which is right next to one of the playgrounds. There are plenty of male and female toilets around the corner from Charis Seafood too.
Harley Park also has a smaller playground for all ages with a swing set and a big ship to climb. Along the beach you’ll also find some little boats and an oversized fishing rod to play with too. Although Harley Park is a smaller park on the Gold Coast, it can be quite popular so if you are looking to hold a gathering, get in nice and early. If you’d like to throw a line in to maybe catch your own dinner, a short walk either direction along the beach will bring you to purpose built fishing decks or simply drop a line in from the beach itself.
