Kurrawa Park Broadbeach

The Fun

This lovely Broadbeach Park is the perfect park for toddlers with numerous play opportunities on a variety of different play equipment. There is a boat for the toddlers to play in which invokes imaginative play.  They can be sailing the high seas as pirates looking for other boats to steal treasure from or pretend they are rescuing a ship wrecked crew.  There are four swings including a baby swing.  Even though this playground is sand underfoot, there is a designated sand pit with seating around the perimeter.  There is also a surf board with a shark bite where they can test their balance.

Bring the bikes or scooters for a ride after lunch along the concrete boardwalk.  There are plenty of drinking fountains along the track.  Beach volley ball is also played out the front of the surf club.

This park is quite large, so there is plenty of open space to play ball games or chasing each other.  It is also on the beach side of Old Burliegh Road so easy access for a quick swim in the ocean.  With barbecues and picnic tables provided, you can bring your lunch to cook there or bring it prepared to enjoy on a picnic rug underneath one of the shady trees.
