Does your child know how to have fun? Do they want their voice to be heard?
Does your child have what it takes to be Dreamworld’s first ever Mini Mayor?
Dreamworld is on the lookout for a ‘Head of Happiness’, and your child could be just what they are looking for! Girls or boys aged 10 or under can enter the competition to become Mini Mayor in 2014.
The lucky finalists and their families will win a week’s holiday at the Gold Coast’s beautiful Paradise Resort for the final week of the mayoral race. The lovely people at Paradise Resort have agreed to support the Mini Mayor finalists by giving them a wonderful holiday sanctuary for this period.
After this, the elected Mini Mayor will be presented the ‘key’ to Dreamworld in a special ceremony, and will receive the benefits of a Platinum World Pass for two years!
Dreamworld CEO Craig Davidson said, “We’d like to think we’re in touch with what our younger citizens need in a theme park, but being able to consult with our very own Mini Mayor would make sure we’re on the mark here at Dreamworld.”
He said they are looking for ‘confident and articulate’ entrants who aren’t afraid of sharing their opinions to become their Head of Happiness.
To be in the running, parents should visit www.dreamworld.com.au/MiniMayor and submit a short video of their child declaring what makes them happy and why they should be awarded the prestigious title of Dreamworld’s Mini Mayor 2014. Entries close 4 April 2014.
All accepted video submissions will be available to view at www.youtube.com/dreamworldAU.
